This Sunday, June 2nd is the Venice Neighborhood Council Election. The Halton Pardee Team wants to ensure you are informed so you can get out and vote if you live and/or work in Venice.

What is the Venice Neighborhood Council?
The VNC is an elected, volunteer Council made up of 21 persons who live, work, own property or have an ongoing and substantial participation in Venice. The VNC is empowered to advocate directly to the City of Los Angeles for real change in our community. The Council elections happen every two years.
What are the boundaries of the VNC?
The VNC boundaries are approximately described as the City of Santa Monica to the North, the Pacific Ocean to the West, Marina del Rey (unincorporated County of Los Angeles) to the South, and Walgrove Avenue, the eastern edge of the Venice High School grounds, Culver City, Walnut, Del Rey and Lincoln Boulevard on the East.
When are the elections held?
Sunday, June 2, from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm
Where are the elections held?
Oakwood Recreation Center, 767 California Avenue, Venice
On-street parking is available. However, it is recommended that persons walk, bike, scooter, Uber/Lift. Get a free ride to the polling place via the LANow app … 1) Download the app LANow. 2) Enter pickup and drop off locations. 3) Enter promo code VoteLANow. 4) Wait for the ride.
Who can vote?
Any person who is 16 years or older and lives, works, owns property or has an ongoing & substantial participation in Venice.
What identification is required?
Photo ID – If your photo ID also shows a physical address (not PO Box) within the Neighborhood Council boundaries, there is no need to provide a second document in order to confirm your local address. Second ID – Proof that you LIVE, WORK, OWN PROPERTY or have an ONGOING and SUBSTANTIAL PARTICIPATION.
