Tamara Knight was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Although Tamara is a Southern California native, in 2000 she took on the risk of moving cross-country, transplanting herself in New York City and began working as an administrative assistant for one of the largest investment banking firms in Manhattan. While establishing herself in New York, she decided to purchase her first home (a 300 SF studio in downtown Brooklyn). After successfully renovating the kitchen and bath, she decided to sell it on Craigslist. This is what started her love affair with real estate. As the gentrification of downtown Brooklyn persisted, she purchased additional studios and continued to successfully flip them until the downturn of the housing market crash in 2007/2008.
Tamara moved to the next phase in her life and obtained, furnished and managed short-term rental apartments in Times Square. She loves meeting new people and had an amazing customer service ability successfully catering to tourists from all over the world. After 16 years of the cold and snowy winters of NYC, Tamara realized that she was still and will always be a “California Girl.” Tamara decided to return to her roots. Shortly after moving back to LA, she craved getting back into real estate. She is excited to be a part of the Halton Pardee+Partners family and is determined to become a complete asset to the team. She is excited about her future and keeps a positive attitude in every phase of her life. When she is off duty, Tamara loves taking hip-hop spin classes, spending time with friends and family and making her famous organic aromatherapy laundry detergent. In addition, Tamara loves to cook.
